Our Services

We offer one on one in home and telehealth visits to get to know your family before baby arrives. We will assess your breastfeeding goals and give you the initial education to help you succeed with breastfeeding and answer questions about what to expect. Many women find this is useful information that initially prepares them to feed their infant in the hospital.  Often women meet their breastfeeding goals more easily with this knowledge base.  We highly recommend this service!

If TLN finds you are covered by insurance, your visit is covered with no cost to you.  Self pay is $100.

We are happy to assess infant feeding and ask that you disclose a brief medical history during your initial visit in order to fully evaluate the breastfeeding effectiveness. An IBCLC from our team will arrive at your house (or virtually) at an agreed upon time and discuss the plan for the day.  We will perform an oral assessment on your baby, evaluate latch, perform pre/post feed weights, and discuss a plan of care that best fits your family's needs. We also prefer to have you pump after your observed feed to ensure correct flange sizing and proper pump usage.  Virtual visits have less hands on assessments.  The visit typically lasts 1.5-2 hours.

If TLN finds you are covered by your insurance, there is no cost to you.  Self pay is $200.  

We acknowledge breastfeeding journeys are challenging and we hope to encourage and foster positive bonding experiences within the family unit.  Our hope is that the followup visit in your home or virtually will focus on optimizing the feeding plan, minimizing interventions to make feeding more efficient, and support the family in any adjustments to the plan.  These visits typically last 1-1.5 hours.

If TLN finds you are covered by your insurance, there is no cost to you.  Self pay is $175.

$200 per visit, 1.5-2 hours in length.
